Beth Devin
Technology Executive & Strategic Advisor of Hearst Labs
Beth Devin is an innovation leader, digital disruptor, and technology executive who likes to call herself a "Tech Whisperer". Currently she is working with the Hearstlab which is on a mission to direct more funding and services to female entrepreneurs.
Previously, Beth has held CIO, CTO and Managing Director roles at large enterprises such as Citi, Silicon Valley Bank, Charles Schwab and Turner Broadcasting. Beth also has experience building businesses, products and teams from the ground up at digital companies and startups, including Blackhawk Network, Art.com, and Manilla.com. Beth is known for her ability to build and lead technology teams while keeping the business strategy and goals at the forefront.
Beth started her career as a software developer, systems analyst and DBA. She received her BS in Computer Science from San Francisco State University and was an International Women’s Forum (IWF) Leadership fellow. She is passionate about increasing the number of women in STEM careers and regularly mentors women taking charge of their career journey.
