Karina Linch
Chief Product Officer, BrainPop
Karina Linch is an education and product executive who has led the development of new products impacting learning outcomes for millions of students. Since Karina joined in 2005, BrianPOP has grown into a trusted brand used in over 70% of U.S. elementary and middle schools. Karina has presented at numerous educational conferences, including NSTA, T+L, ISTE, FETC, TCEA, CUE, AEP, SITE, Games For Change, Meaningful Play, Digital Kids EDU, Games, Learning and Society, STEM Summit 5.0, and was the keynote speaker at the MCPK Early Learning Institute. She also led a team participating in the first (and perhaps only) White House Game Jam.
Before joining BrainPOP, Karina was a NYC public school teacher and lead Teaching Fellow in Brooklyn and the Bronx. She has studied the Japanese school system on a Fulbright Memorial Fund scholarship and worked with educators in Mexico on a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Karina received her Masters in Education from Lehman College and her B.A. in film and television from New York University.
